Ewtree is the perfect wedding venue for those who want to marry without all of the pomp and expense of a church ceremony, traditionally followed by the extremely expensive hotel wedding breakfast or evening party. At Ewetree you and your close friends, family and even pets can escape to the countryside where you can all relax and enjoy your special day!

Hold your own open air BBQ and play music and party, do as much or as little as you want, it is entirely up to you! Naturally we will help you plan & prepare, arrange the vicar & prepare the field, stage, gazebo etc.

Because of his passion for nature, freedom and the great outdoors Bev has created this special haven for like minded people who relish freedom, here life is all about nature, freedom and enjoying yourself! We provide a rare and natural venue, there are well maintained tracks leading down to the well drained riverside field where you select your own parking area and get ready to enjoy yourselves. We provide a central BBQ, log seating and a covered stage where you can set up your music equipment and party!

About us

The company is owned by a VW enthusiast for the enthusiast. Our modern workshop is located in the small village of Lindal in Furness on the fringe of the Lake District whilst our wedding location is set in the village of Ulpha in the tranquil Duddon Valley. Naturally the workshop takes care of all of of the vehicle repairs whilst Ulpha provides the superb location for our unique wedding venue, here we provide can provide enthuisiasts with a complete service for those who are looking for an affordable and totally different wedding option. Bring your friends to our beautiful riversite setting either in their weekenders, campers or even tents, hold your own BBQ's and celebrate the occasion!
